Marina Description
In North Miami Beach (United States), you will find this marina. It is a marina with moderate capacity for medium size boats, taking into account the number and size of its moorings (max. length: 30.40 – max. draught: 3.00). It includes a highly varied range of services available to its customers. The basic needs of its customers will be well met, because it has water, electricity and gas station..
Well connected and not only accessible by sea, it is also close to the nearest airport.
Setting — Maule Lake is tucked into a basin off Biscayne Bay. Four sets of docks radiating from the north shore, outboard of Tuna's Restaurant with an additional set on the south side of the basin. The outermost dock has slips on the basin side. The views are of open water with the skyscrapers of Miami Beach visible in the distance. B and C docks have slips on both sides.
Marina Notes — Pump-out boat on call by Waste Busters. A facility in transition, Maule Lake is now owned by Seven Kings Holding and slated for complete renovation; in late 2005, it will become Loggerhead Club and Marina at Maule Lake. The new owners are replacing and renovating the docks, completely redoing the landside facilities (including new upscale heads and the showers) and beginning upland condominium construction as well. Call ahead if you're planning to visit in 2005. They expect transient dockage to be available at all times. Quite a few liveaboards berth here. Currently, the fairly basic heads and showers are in the Tuna Restaurant (locked & dedicated to marina guests). Gated docks. Very service-oriented dockmaster offers concierge services.
Notable — Tuna Restaurant (which will be open throughout the construction) offers inside and outside deck dining overlooking the docks. Mon-Sun, lunch 11:30am-3pm, dinner 3-11pm, late-night menu 11pm-2am. A tiki bar, at the eastern end of the restaurant, overlooks the docks and offers lighter fare. An event room will accommodate 40-50 people; they'll provide a special menu for fleet cruises or rendezvous. Innermost D dock hosts International Yacht Brokers. The on-site outdoor furnishings store may net some interesting items for the boat. Pro Player Stadium (Dolphins and Marlins) is close by.
